The Club has a uniform to ensure our swimmers look cool, smart and menacingly
well prepared while shredding the competition at swimming meets. The primary
component is the Mana Swimco swimming cap - for use while swimming clearly. This
is complimented by a range of 'dryland' garments for poolside wear and getting
to and from meets. Theoptions here include v-neck shirts, shorts
and 'hoodie' jackets.
All swimmers must wear their Mana swim cap when representing
the club at meets. Caps are available from the duty desk on club nights at very
reasonable cost. Note: Should a swimmer have a problem with
their cap during a meet the team manager should immediately be approached. He or
she will have a spare cap for emergencies.
Squad members are strongly encouraged to wear dryland uniform when attending
away meets. Although it is not compulsory the uniform makes our team look smart
and professional and is good for our team's morale. The committee endeavours to
keep the cost of uniform items at a reasonable level whilst maintaining a
selection of good quality garments.
Further information on the uniform is available from the duty officer
poolside on club nights or from the uniform officer as detailed on the Contacts page.
